With the shutdown of operations, many users began looking for information on how to withdraw money from a blocked bet and recover the balance available in their accounts.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the deadline to voluntarily request the withdrawal of the balance ended on October 5, 2026, at 23:59.
From October 6, betting sites and apps should become unavailable.
Between October 9 and 14, financial institutions must carry out the refund of amounts to bettors.
From October 15, Caixa Econômica Federal may act as an intermediary in cases where operational difficulties prevent banks from processing the refund.
If the balance of the blocked bet has not yet been returned, check the bank account used for deposits and follow official communications.
Keep receipts, transaction records and screenshots of the balance. In case of problems, contact the official channels of the financial institution and the operator.
Do not pay advance fees to third parties who promise to release blocked amounts.
On October 9, 2026, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security reported that 16,627 illegal betting and advertising sites had been identified and forwarded for blocking.
This number represents the addresses forwarded for blocking, not necessarily the amount of sites whose blocking has already been completed.
